Dr Christine Grima-Farrell

Dr Christine Grima-Farrell is an experienced school teacher, special educator and teacher educator. She is Convenor of the Australian Association of Research in Education Teachers’ Work and Lives special interest group.  Chris was awarded a NSW Premier’s Teaching award for Excellence in her work in the area of Inclusive Education and Research to Practice initiatives and an Australian Government Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning. She continues to live her scholarly work as she strives to raise awareness of ways to merge research and practice to support the diverse needs of students and enhance their wellbeing and resilience through promoting collaborative partnerships.

A/Prof John Buchanan

Dr John Buchanan is an Associate Professor in the School of Education, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Technology Sydney, where he also coordinates International and Engagement programs. His teaching and research interests include social and environmental education, particularly intercultural education, history, geography and teaching English as a foreign language, as well as teacher quality, attrition and retention.
